UpperClass Rental – Terms & Conditions
- Introduction
Welcome to UpperClass Rental. By renting our products and/or making use of our services, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
- Opening Hours
UpperClass Rental conducts business only within the following opening hours:
• Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM – 09:00 PM
• Saturday: 08:00 AM – 08:00 PM
• Closed on the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month
• 3rd, 4th (and 5th) Sunday of the month: 12:00 PM – 04:00 PM
• Pick-up and return of items are permitted up to 15 minutes before closing time only.
• Attempts to return items after closing time may result in additional charges.
- Rental Period
• The equipment rental rate is for a period of up to 24 hours.
• There is no minimum rental period.
- Late Return Policy
• A grace period of up to 1 hour and 59 minutes applies after the agreed return time.
• Late return charges are calculated as follows:
– 2 hours late: +30% of the daily rental rate
– 3 hours late: +60% of the daily rental rate
– 4 hours or more late: +100% of the daily rental rate (charged as an additional rental day)
– Each additional day late: +100% of the daily rental rate per day
• If one or more items are not returned with the rest of the rental, the late return policy applies per missing item.
• If the missing item is part of a set or unit, the customer will be charged for the entire set or unit, not just the missing component.UpperClass Rental reserves the right to charge late fees and additional rental days regardless of whether the items were used during the extended period.
- Special Sunday Return Conditions (1st & 2nd Sunday of the Month)
• Items collected on Saturday before 6:00 PM, when the following day is the 1st or 2nd Sunday of the month, must be returned on Monday.
• An additional charge of 50% of the daily rental rate will apply for that Sunday.
• Items collected on Saturday after 6:00 PM, when the following day is the 1st or 2nd Sunday of the month, must be returned on Monday between 08:00 AM and 09:00 AM.
• Returns after 09:00 AM will be considered late and charged according to the late return policy.
- Booking & Payment
• A 80% -100% down payment is required to confirm a booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid before or at the time of delivery or pickup, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer to the account stated on the quotation or invoice.
- Security Deposit (Borg)
• A security deposit may be required, depending on the type and quantity of items rented.
• The deposit will be refunded after inspection of the returned items.
• UpperClass Rental reserves the right to deduct costs for damage, loss, excessive cleaning, or late return from the deposit.
- Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or pickup.
• In case of cancellation, 30% of the total quotation or invoice amount will be charged as administrative costs.
• Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable.
- Delivery & Pickup
• Delivery and pickup services are available and additional transportation fees apply.
• The customer (or a designated representative) must be present at the agreed time of delivery and pickup.
• If the customer cannot be present, this must be communicated in advance, including the name and contact details of the receiving person.
• At delivery, the items and quantities will be checked together with the customer or their representative.
• UpperClass Rental reserves the right to determine whether items are eligible for customer pickup.
- Delivery & Pickup Restrictions
• Certain items are classified as fragile items and are only delivered and picked up by UpperClass Rental.
• Fragile items include, but are not limited to: ceramic dinner plates, glassware (such as whiskey glasses, wine glasses, long drink glasses, beer glasses), and similar breakable items.
• These items are not available for customer pickup under any circumstances.
• For first-time renters, all rentals will be delivered and picked up by UpperClass Rental, regardless of item type.
• Customer pickup may only be available to returning clients, at the discretion of UpperClass Rental.
• UpperClass Rental reserves the right to refuse customer pickup for any item if deemed necessary for safety or inventory protection
- Inspection & Return
• All items are inspected upon return.
• The final assessment of damage or missing items may take place after pickup or return.
• Hidden or later-discovered damage remains the responsibility of the customer.
- Customer Responsibilities
• The customer is fully responsible for all rented items during the rental period.
• Items must be used safely, correctly, and according to instructions.
• The customer is responsible for the actions of guests, staff, or third parties using the rented items.
• Items must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.
- Damage, Loss & Liability
• Damage or loss of rented items will result in repair or replacement costs, determined by UpperClass Rental.
• UpperClass Rental is not liable for injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper or unsafe use of rented items.
• The customer assumes all risks associated with the use of the rented items.
- Item-Specific Conditions (Cleaning & Hygiene)
• To ensure the longevity and hygiene of our items, the following cleaning conditions apply per item category:Item

Emptied, cleaned, and dry
• Items returned with food residue, stains, or improper cleaning will be subject to additional cleaning fees.
• Failure to pay cleaning or damage-related fees may result in the customer being refused future rentals (blacklisted).
- Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal discussion before pursuing mediation or legal action.
- Changes to Terms
UpperClass Rental reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version provided with the quotation or invoice is considered binding.
